Can I Bring Someone With Me to My Boudoir Photo Shoot?

Absolutely! I will never tell you that you can’t bring someone with you if that makes you feel more comfortable. If you decide you’d like to bring someone, take great care to choose a person who has good supportive energy, who won’t take attention away from you.

This might sound obvious, but in the past, I’ve had clients compromise their final images by inviting someone who shouldn’t have been there in the first place.

Alternatively, I’ve also had husbands, boyfriends, friends and even mothers who’ve attended sessions that I’m convinced had a positive impact on the final images by their presence.

In short, choose the person you invite to your photo shoot with great care as it can have a profound impact (positive or negative) on your boudoir photos. Even otherwise wonderful people can sometime suck up bandwidth from the creative process, so I personally prefer less people. That said, I’ll never tell you that you can’t bring someone along if that’s what you or your partner prefer.
