Dannielle's Boudoir Photo Shoot

I see a ton of "boudoir photographers" these days with portfolios and instagram profiles full of models. Do I have models in my portfolio? Abso-freakin-lutely! The vast majority of the women in my portfolio however is comprised of moms and every day women that decide to come do a boudoir photo shoot with me to help them change the way they see themselves.

Michelle's Boudoir Photo Shoot

One of the greatest compliments I occasionally get is when a client travels a great distance to come do a boudoir photo shoot with me. That was exactly the case for my gorgeous client Michelle who traveled all the way from Hawaii to come do this session.

After extensively researching her options for boudoir photographers in her home town and not liking the local options, Michelle decided to do a search for boudoir photographers in the San Francisco bay area. Her thought was that she would come do a session with me while out in the bay area visiting with a friend. This was also a convenient excuse for her to use to slip away from her husband as this session is going to be a surprise present for him!

Mary's Boudoir Photoshoot

Mary chose to have her boudoir photo shoot photographed in a studio style setting. I really love to approach these sessions from a classical standpoint with the old renaissance painters as my inspiration. These studio style boudoir sessions give a very elegant and timeless feel to the final images which is something I really love. My intention with all of my studio style boudoir sessions is to create timeless final artwork, that will be as relevant 100 years from now as they are today.

Brandi's Boudoir Photo Shoot

My mission statement as a boudoir photographer is to help you change the way you see yourself. Brandi had been following my work for years, and had seen the transformation I had made for countless other women, but only recently did she truly get to experience that transformation for herself.

Bay Area Fine Art Nude Photographer

As a boudoir and fine art nude photographer, it is very important to me that my boudoir images are classy. My role models for this standard have always been the old renaissance painters and among my current favorite are the works of Jean-Marc Nattier. You'll notice that when these old masters painted nude women, it's always done with class using shadows and careful posing to their advantage, keeping everything timelessly beautiful.

2017 JG Boudoir Highlights

My 2017 boudoir highlight reel is here! It's honestly just a taste of some of my favorite images from the year, but for the sake of brevity I decided to keep things short and sweet. Hope you all enjoy!

Laura's Boudoir Photo Shoot

One of the most consistent objections I hear  from women wanting to do a boudoir photoshoot often revolves around how they perceive themselves physically. I've had some women tell me they would love to do a photoshoot, but they feel like they are getting too old, or that they feel like it's not a good idea because their body has changed since they were in their early 20's.  If you're nodding your head yes right now to what I just said you should probably re-evaluate your mindset by checking out this before and after image from Laura's boudoir photoshoot.

Jennifer's Boudoir Photo Shoot

I really enjoyed producing this boudoir photoshoot for Jennifer. I could tell that she didn't exactly have the highest hopes for what her final images would look like when she came in for her consultation. When I see this expectation in clients body language, it honestly really just fires me up to try and create unbelievable images that will get them to have that OMG reaction for their final reveal!

Veronica's Boudoir Photoshoot

What if I could change the way you saw yourself? Most women I talk to tell me openly that they would love to do a boudoir photoshoot with me, but are hesitant because they don't feel like they can look like the women in my portfolio. The easiest way I've found to answer this objection honestly and decisively is to simply show them some before and after images from some of my past clients.

Kat's Boudoir Photo Shoot

The biggest reason most women don't do a boudoir session (despite their desire to do so) is simply because they talk themselves out of it.

Boudoir isn't something you do once you gather up the confidence to do it. It's something you do despite your insecurities to feel amazing about yourself as you are.
