Sonoma Boudoir Photographer
I’m a Sonoma boudoir photographer who helps you find your best angles and sculpts them gorgeous light—so you feel just as stunning as you look. You don’t need modeling experience. You don’t need to know how to pose. The most photogenic people you see in my portfolio? Almost all of them said they were “awkward” in front of the camera. They just hadn’t been photographed like this before. My sessions are collaborative. I show you what works, how to move, where to look, and how to carry yourself like the woman you want to see staring back from the photos.
Before & After Transformations By a Sonoma Boudoir Photographer
The “before” photos show clients in their natural state—no makeup, no styled hair, no guided poses, and regular lighting. The “after” photos are taken after a full makeover with professional hair and makeup. I handle the posing, lighting, and editing to create the images you see. These transformations aren’t about filters or digital tricks. For my Sonoma boudoir photo shoots, I use natural light, thoughtful posing, and expert guidance to highlight the best version of you—one that already exists. If you’re unsure about booking a session, take a moment to read my client testimonials. My clients explain the impact of their photo shoots better than I ever could.
How This Client Describes Her Sonoma Boudoir Session
“My experience with Jason was nothing short of wonderful! He is very professional, genuine, easy to be with, informative and straight forward, and made the whole experience comfortable and FUN!
His incredible makeup artist came in and worked her magic quickly and effortlessly. She was sweet and fun and clearly knows her craft (I also have super sensitive skin/eyes and was concerned about the makeup…but I had no issues whatsoever).
The rest of the day was a lot of hard work, and A LOT of fun!! It could have been a very vulnerable experience to elect to have, but Jason made me feel so safe and free. The day was definitely filled with a lot of laughing and play.
And the final product? GORGEOUS!! His artistry and skill are impeccable…the images are beautiful, refined, artistic. Jason offers a high quality experience with an exquisite product. I couldn’t have asked for more!”

Locations I Recommend As a Sonoma Boudoir Photographer
Because I shoot exclusively on location, the right setting plays a big role in the final look of your photos. Some clients choose to use their homes—especially if they have good natural light and a space that feels like them. Others prefer a change of scenery. If that’s you, I’ll help you find the right setting based on the vibe you’re after.
One of my favorite places to shoot is the Ledson Hotel, right on the Sonoma Plaza. The rooms are filled with elegant furniture and soft, directional window light—perfect for creating timeless, flattering portraits.
Want boudoir photos among the vineyards of Northern California’s wine country? The Mountain Terrace, is a private estate tucked into the hills. It’s ideal if you’re hoping for an outdoor setting. Below are a few photos taken these locations to help you imagine the possibilities.

Do You Provide Lingerie or Wardrobe For Clients?
No, I don’t provide lingerie—but that’s actually a good thing. The truth is, your boudoir photos will look far better when you bring outfits that fit you perfectly and match your personal style. I’ve found that when clients wear pieces they’ve chosen themselves, the photos feel more polished and authentic—which shows in the final images.
If you’re unsure where to start, I created this guide to choosing lingerie for your body type to help you find the most flattering styles. You can also check out my roundup of the best places to buy boudoir outfits if you need ideas.

Is Professional Hair and Makeup Included With My Session?
Yes—hair and makeup are included with every boudoir session. You’ll work with my trusted makeup artist, who knows exactly how to create a look that photographs beautifully. Whether you’re after something subtle and romantic or more glamorous, we’ll make sure you feel amazing before the first photo is even taken.

This is part of what makes my approach to boudoir photography in Sonoma feel more like a luxury experience than a regular photo shoot.
I Feel Awkward In Photos—Can You Still Make Me Look Good?
Definitely. Making people look amazing—even if they’ve never liked a photo of themselves—is basically my superpower. Most of my clients start out feeling awkward or unsure in front of the camera. That’s normal. You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands. I’ll guide you through every step.
If you’d like to feel more prepared before your session, I recommend checking out my post on boudoir posing tips. It covers simple techniques that flatter your figure and take the guesswork out of what to do in front of the camera.
You don’t need to be “photogenic” to look incredible in photos. You just need someone who knows how to light you well, direct you into flattering shapes, and help you feel confident doing it. That’s what I do.
How Much Does a Sonoma Boudoir Photo Shoot Cost?
A Sonoma boudoir photo shoot starts at $1,952. That includes the photo shoot itself, professional hair and makeup, a 6-image folio box, and high-res and web-res JPEGs of every image you select. You’ll also have a private reveal session to view your images and decide if you’d like to purchase more.
To estimate the total cost of your session, just add the $500 deposit to the number of images you think you’ll want. If you’d like to explore all of the options for displaying your photos, you can check out my price menu.
Most of my clients spend between $3,500 and $7,000 on their final boudoir albums or folio boxes, but it varies based on how many images you love. Some spend less, and others spend more—it’s entirely up to you.
