Jessica's Boudoir Photo Shoot

Does the thought of doing a boudoir session make you super nervous? If you’re nodding your head yes, you’re not alone. A clear majority of my clients are typically visibly nervous before we start photographing their sessions. In most cases I usually only need about 10-20 minutes to break though that nervousness and most people are completely comfortable after that.

Boudoir Photos For Wedding

Most women that contact me, are super nervous about their sessions. They are worried about this or that perceived body flaw and how they will appear when I level my camera at them. This was not one of those sessions. No, Devon has been photographed before and she is one of the rare women I have had come see me, that is super confident in herself.

Laura's Boudoir Photo Shoot

One of the most consistent objections I hear  from women wanting to do a boudoir photoshoot often revolves around how they perceive themselves physically. I've had some women tell me they would love to do a photoshoot, but they feel like they are getting too old, or that they feel like it's not a good idea because their body has changed since they were in their early 20's.  If you're nodding your head yes right now to what I just said you should probably re-evaluate your mindset by checking out this before and after image from Laura's boudoir photoshoot.

Jennifer's Boudoir Photo Shoot

I really enjoyed producing this boudoir photoshoot for Jennifer. I could tell that she didn't exactly have the highest hopes for what her final images would look like when she came in for her consultation. When I see this expectation in clients body language, it honestly really just fires me up to try and create unbelievable images that will get them to have that OMG reaction for their final reveal!

Veronica's Boudoir Photoshoot

What if I could change the way you saw yourself? Most women I talk to tell me openly that they would love to do a boudoir photoshoot with me, but are hesitant because they don't feel like they can look like the women in my portfolio. The easiest way I've found to answer this objection honestly and decisively is to simply show them some before and after images from some of my past clients.

Kat's Boudoir Photo Shoot

The biggest reason most women don't do a boudoir session (despite their desire to do so) is simply because they talk themselves out of it.

Boudoir isn't something you do once you gather up the confidence to do it. It's something you do despite your insecurities to feel amazing about yourself as you are.

Alisha's Boudoir Photo Shoot

One of my favorite things about what I do is taking every day women, and guiding them with expert posing and lighting to make them look celebrities in a magazine. Alicia was highly skeptical that she could look like the other women in my portfolio, but I told her to trust me and just go with it. From there I would take care of the rest. Alicia did just that and took the direction I gave her super well! The results speak for themselves and Alicia got some AMAZING images from her boudoir photoshoot.

Rebekah's Boudoir Photo Shoot

As a boudoir photographer I feel like I truly have the best job on earth! I get to show women how others see them under the best circumstances even when they might not be able to see it themselves. This is the strongest reason to do a boudoir photoshoot, to change the way you see yourself. This is my passion and what I do for my clients!
