All before pictures are un-retouched and captured before the woman’s makeover and with no posing direction from me. All after images are captured after the clients makeover. After photos are directed, lit, and hand retouched by me.
I am a middle-aged woman of 54, a mother of 3 adult daughters, and a grandmother to one. Many times, over the years, I considered having boudoir photos done of myself.
Earlier in my life, I was curious, yet felt quite insecure. In addition to my insecurities, I never found a photographer who produced classy Renaissance-style boudoir photos of their subjects.
Then along came Jason who I was first introduced to when he photographed my eldest daughter's wedding three years ago. In addition to him producing AMAZING wedding photographic images, I got to know the overall quality of man that Jason is. Basically, I came to genuinely like and and respect both Jason and his work.
Seeing Jason's excellent boudoir photos online, and knowing my comfort with him as a person, I decided it was time to seriously explore having my own set of boudoir photos done.
The entire process with Jason was supportive, safe, comfortable and even fun!
Having my hair and makeup done by Alex, and being guided by Jason to hold specific poses, made me feel prepared, confident and appropriately guided on the day of my photo shoot. Although it was a long day (approx 8 hours) from my make over to the end of the shoot, I found working with Jason's guidance to be enjoyable.
Just last week when I went to my "reveal", I was beyond satisfied with the images that Jason produced of me. I can hardly believe that at 54, some of his images are the best photos that have ever been taken of me. I feel beautiful, powerful, and sexy, and am thrilled beyond my wildest imagination!!! My images feel like pieces of art, more than mere photographs.
I can hardly wait to have my photo book come in, to hang the blown up image (on metal) in my bedroom, and to give my boyfriend
his personal photo gift for Christmas!

The unknown makes me uneasy. My nervousness was my own insecurities about myself, my body and my shyness. I also have never had professional photos of any kind done and was nervous putting myself in such a vulnerable position. From Jason’s emails to the initial consultation to the shoot, Jason is very informative & straight forward about what to expect & how to prepare. I had an amazing photo session with Jason Guy. I was very leery to do so because of my age and putting in some weight over the years...however Jason made me feel so comfortable and not out of place. He talks you through every step along the way. My session began with Duckey, a make up artist who turned my morning doldrums into a work of art. Then Jason takes as much time as needed to help pose you for each shot and make you feel at ease with yourself. He takes the time to teach you how to pose and how to look into the camera with ease.
The whole process from beginning to end was fun and exciting.
I would do it again, if for know other reason, just for my own self confidence.
Jason is an amazing photographer with an eye for small detail. Most people are shocked when they hear I had a man as my photographer for my boudoir shoot. Jason made the experience very comfortable and poses you in ways that hide your "flaws." By the end I felt like a professional. He is honest, hilarious, and an overall very kind person.

At 38 weeks pregnant I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My little guy was induced right away so I could start treatment asap. With a newborn at home and constant doctor appointments I had very little time to get anything done. I have always wanted to do a boudoir shoot and really wanted to document my body before I got cut into and lost all my hair.
I found Jason’s website on a random search and was immediately impressed by his work. Most of the boudoir photos I came across in my online search came off really corny to me, but as soon as I saw Jason’s work I knew this was what I wanted. I was particularly impressed by his before and after shots. They were beautiful and not the least bit corny.
Jason spoke with me over facetime and listened to what I was looking for and went out of his way to make this happen for me before treatment started. I was extremely nervous, here I am 2 weeks postpartum, no experience taking pictures, and no wardrobe (I’ve been in nothing but maternity panties for months). Jason shows up and immediately puts my husband and I at ease. He is extremely personable, professional, and talented.
The stylist Ducky was delightful and talented. She made me feel beautiful and my hair was perfect. Jason and Ducky helped me look through my closet and made it fun. They made me feel so comfortable. I was not expecting this level of photography.
Jason is an artist and you can tell he is passionate and enjoys his work. He does not settle for anything less than exactly what you want. I can’t say doing this shoot was easy but I couldn’t imagine doing this with anyone other than Jason. He made me feel strong even in an environment where you would think I would feel vulnerable.
When Jason showed me the final photos I had a really hard time finding words. I’m not very emotional but was very overwhelmed with the beauty he was able to capture. My body isn’t perfect but it is mine and it is beautiful. He was able to capture ME. I will be forever grateful for him and doing this for me.
I recommend to anyone looking into doing boudoir photos DO IT and do it NOW. Don’t wait for the perfect time because there isn’t one and you will never get to have this special gift. I also recommend having Jason capture your beauty. His talent is only shadowed by his wonderful personality. You will not regret it.
Jason is the best! Super professional, respectful, and understanding! I have never been comfortable in front of a camera. Jason didn't judge me and my nervousness, he eased me through the whole process. Talked me through the schedule and showed me other photos to get ideas. If I was a famous model I would only hire Jason. Thanks to Jason I would have him take my photo more often. I strongly STRONGLY Recommend doing a set with Jason. He brings out the beauty in everyone!
My experience with Jason was nothing short of wonderful! He is very professional, genuine, easy to be with, informative and straight forward, and made the whole experience comfortable and FUN!
His incredible makeup artist came in and worked her magic quickly and effortlessly. She was sweet and fun and clearly knows her craft (I also have super sensitive skin/eyes and was concerned about the makeup...but I had no issues whatsoever).
The rest of the day was a lot of hard work, and A LOT of fun!! It could have been a very vulnerable experience to elect to have, but Jason made me feel so safe and free. The day was definitely filled with a lot of laughing and play.
And the final product? GORGEOUS!! His artistry and skill are impeccable...the images are beautiful, refined, artistic. Jason offers a high quality experience with an exquisite product. I couldn’t have asked for more!
Furthermore, I have to note how thrilled and appreciative I am that Jason uses a company to make the books that is dedicated to be environmentally conscious. These books are absolutely exquisite in every detail, and made with conscious non-toxic elements...and to receive them in packaging that can either be naturally recycled or dissolved in water (literally, the packing popcorn is made of corn starch) is fantastic!! Well done in every way, Jason!!
Jason is a true photography WARLOCK! I have never been so intimidated initially and then within 10 minutes felt like I had been doing this for years! His guidance is extremely thoughtful concerning your figure, features, and expressions. He wants to highlight your attributes and erase your mind of your flaws so that they become part of your uniqueness and nothing of a negative nature. He is able to make you extremely comfortable at your most vulnerable. I initially went to speak to him about a body positivity project. I believe women in all shapes and sizes should feel beautiful. Though I carry this view, I allow myself to fall prey to societies unobtainable perception of the beautiful woman. Well, friends, Jason is doing this work in the now. The way Jason posed my body into and out of the light, I quickly realized I was in good hands and after he shared a few shots with me, my butterflies disappeared. As I sit down to write this review, a million thoughts are going through my mind. Let me just say that this was not my first boudoir session, my first with him, but not my first photo shoot. My first was horrible. While there were some good photos, I never bought an album. I didn't feel like the photographer really saw me or captured me in a way that I would want to have printed copies.
When I sat down to talk to Jason about my wants, desires, expectations and hopes. I really was unsure whether or not I would leave happy. But from the moment that I sat down he made me feel welcome. Offering coffee, and an honest talk about what I wanted. He put all my worries to rest.
We picked a place, and a time and I got nervous and excited all at the same time. I left feeling confident that I had made the right choice. I had received the recommendation from my lash girl/friend Ducky. She also is his make up artist.
The location I wanted was at the beach, he meticulously checked the weather and gave me updates. As the day approached we made the decision to change the location due to weather. And although this change was last minute, he calmed my fears and gave me suggestions to where we could shoot. Never for a minute making me feel like I was alone in the search.
The next day we arrived at the new location, an AirBnB. He brought snack and water, and started coaching me on what to do.
We shot for almost 8 hours. From the lighting to having my make up and hair professionally done. I was transformed from an "ugly" duckling into a swan.
At the end of the day I was exhausted but satisfied. And the only thing on my mind was my reveal.
I showed up to Jason's place a few weeks later and literally cried as I saw the photos. Even the reveal is done with class and as an experience.
He TRULY delivered. I saw in front of me some of the most beautiful images I've ever seen. He made me feel special and incredible. I fell in love with all the images that I couldn't leave without purchasing the entire album.
He truly is a professional. His photography is amazing. No really amazing. If there was a word better than amazing it would be that. His attention to every single detail is incredible. Every hair, every move, pose, breath thought out. He made me see myself in an entirely new light. The way people see me. The entire experience from start to finish is one that I intent to repeat again.
I was left even completely flabbergasted when I found out he loved one of the images so much that the printed it and its now on his wall. He is one of a kind. I was not disappointed for one moment.
I know ladies there are a million reasons why you probably hesitate to do one, your not thin enough... you have 10 lbs to lose. Your too old, its too risky. Who would you show the photos to? But let me tell you that I did this for me. Im 170 lbs. Not the thinnest girl, but Jason made me embrace and love all the curves my body has. He made me appreciate them in a way I never could before. Oh man where can I start with Jason Guy. Let’s start by saying if you want literally your mind blown look at his photos. He is the most awesome photographer. I first met Jason in 2017, I was looking for a boudoir photographer because my birthday was coming up, and I wanted to gift myself. From the first moment Jason and I started speaking we hit it off, we were laughing and we were joking and I knew this was going to be awesome.
Well let me tell you how much “awesome” was a understatement. I was so nervous for my first shoot, I didn’t know if I was going to look good, I didn’t know if I was going to be able to pose, how awkward was I going to look on camera, because let me tell you, I am the most awkward individual. But Jason showed me all his posing techniques, key words to listen for and the next thing I know we are shooting. He shows me my first image and I say “I knew you were good, but I didn’t know you were that good”. The experience was unforgettable, so unforgettable that I shot with him again over a year later. At both reveal sessions I was blown away with how gorgeous my pictures came out.

I recently had a boudoir shoot with Jason and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I did the shoot for my boyfriend but at the end of the day it was for me too. From the initial meeting to the end result, Jason was a positive encouraging energy. He did admit from the beginning that he was in charge yet I felt that I had control of my end result. The way he makes you pose and move to the lighting of the room was amazing. I looked better than I ever thought I could look. I brought all my own lingerie but he had thought of other things to bring in case I didn't have something he thought I needed. His makeup artist was amazing and we had the best time getting me to be the best that I could be. I would highly recommend Jason for your shoot. As a plus, if you want amazing lingerie, which is how I met Jason is through Shawnee at Knickers and Pearls in Yountville. My whole collection is from there. Where to begin. I have always been interested in doing a boudoir shoot. I've seen friends shoots and pictures online just never thought I could go through with it. Jason's Facebook profile popped up on my feed one day and I followed and I was truly amazed at his work. Breathtaking work. One day I decided to contact him and from there everything just fell together. Being a girl of bigger size and mom of 4 my body I feel has gone through war. I truly didn't think it could be pulled off. I picked my location which ended up being more amazing than I had imagined. However Jason's eye for this is one of a kind. As you’re going through the shoot wondering if lighting is truly ok or this weird pose he's putting you in will look right. Well let me just tell you every bit of it was so worth it. My photo reveal yesterday took my breath away. I'm not an easy person to make cry but I cried in amazement of how beautiful the pictures came out. One of the biggest objections I hear about why women can't do a boudoir session with me is because they feel that they can't look like the women in my portfolio. This common objection is why I decided to post a before and after boudoir gallery. I want to show that the women in my boudoir photos aren't special exceptions, but are rather everyday women just like you.
